The Sydney University Hockey Club is pleased to confirm the services of Scott Barker as Director of Hockey have been  secured for the next three seasons.

Scott has worked with the club and broader SUSF organisation since 2012 to develop deep relationships, attract talent and to strengthen the offering of the club for both elite and participation focused athletes.  Scott is nationally recognised as a coach, previously being involved in the NSW U21s, AHL (now Hockey One) and multiple Australian National engagements.  Scott has also been the Russian National Hockey coach and The High Performance Pathways Manager for the NSW Swifts (Netball).

Ant McInnes, club President said “Scott, as both a coach and operator, is exactly the type of person that will help position us to pursue excellence and to help grow our club and sport.  We are excited that we’ve secured his services for the next three years.”

Scott Barker added It is an honour and a privilege to continue in my role at Sydney Uni Hockey Club. For the past two years I have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside the players, coaches and all other staff in this role. I am very excited about the challenges ahead and what the future presents.  I am certainly looking forward to creating continual growth and sustained success.”
