Sanjay Hettige, 35, (no nickname), left half

What brought you to the club?

Wanted to get back into hockey.  Hadn’t played since high school previously went to University here, so I thought it would be a good environment.

What have you enjoyed most about the club?

Chance to stay fit, good group of lads, everyone is really nice, and love the socials.

Favourite game in SUHC colours?

Beating UNSW last year

What makes the community within SUHC special or unique compared to other clubs?

 

No matter your ability or background people are welcoming and nice, giving you a chance to contribute and participate. No hierarchy, no matter what matter stage or level feel you feel part of the club

 

Are there any traditions or rituals within SUHC that are particularly meaningful to you?

Pub Crawl
